DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT: TIMES SQUARE

The design of five new Times Square towers was the subject of a summer installation by The Skyscraper Museum, open through September 1, 2001 at 110 Maiden Lane in Lower Manhattan.

Inspired by the popularity of the museum's 2000 spring lecture series, Times Square Now, the installation explored the interactions of design and development by showing the evolution of the building form through multiple study models. The featured towers included:

3 Times Square/Reuters Building
Fox & Fowle Architects PC

4 Times Square/Conde Nast Building

5 Times Square/Ernst & Young Building
