Demolition of the Astor Building and 7 Pine Street is complete except for the foundations by June 25, 1931, affording a clear view from Wall Street to Pine Street. Passageways between the Bankers Trust Building Street and the Astor Building, which the Bankers Trust Company had owned since 1919, can be seen on the party wall to the right in the photo.
