The Skyscraper Museum

The Skyscraper Museum is devoted to the study of high-rise building, past, present, and future. The Museum explores tall buildings as objects of design, products of technology, sites of construction, investments in real estate, and places of work and residence. This site will look better in a browser that supports web standards, but it is accessible to any browser or Internet device.

ONLINE ARCHIVE

The Museum's Online Archive is a digital interpretation of the Museum's exhibitions and programs, allowing past work to become accessible to online visitors. Since 2006, the Museum's exhibitions can be viewed virtually, and interpreted intellectually in this new format. Programs are archived in streaming video and often indexed by theme to serve as a dynamic research tool for scholars and professionals. Click here for our Programs Archive Video Index.

Additionally, the archive also makes our collections available online, often visualized through our WEB PROJECTS, which draw from our collections to create dynamic image-based interfaces. FINDING AIDS are also available for researchers.
