The Skyscraper Museum is devoted to the study of high-rise building, past, present, and future. The Museum explores tall buildings as objects of design, products of technology, sites of construction, investments in real estate, and places of work and residence. New York Celebrates Hong Kong 2008 Festival

October 1st marks the launch of New York Celebrates Hong Kong 2008, a month-long celebration throughout New York City of Hong Kong's creativity and entrepreneurship. The festival, which includes events featuring local and international artists, showcases Hong Kong's cultural and economic vitality. Through art exhibits, opera and dance performances and educational symposiums, the festival offers an opportunity to learn about the evolving "modern heritage" of a continuously vibrant and transformative city. The festival is hosted by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, New York and supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
