The Skyscraper Museum is devoted to the study of high-rise building, past, present, and future. The Museum explores tall buildings as objects of design, products of technology, sites of construction, investments in real estate, and places of work and residence. This site will look better in a browser that supports web standards, but it is accessible to any browser or Internet device.
The GREEN TEAMS Web Archive presents video recordings, indexed clips, and
summary transcripts of the Museum’s Winter/Spring 2006 lecture series
on the state of the art in sustainable skyscraper design.
Eight evenings of presentations and panel discussions brought together 30
leading professionals in the green building movement, including developers,
architects, engineers, environmental consultants, and government officials.
Highlighting the creative collaboration among clients and designers, each
program explored a major tower project or architectural practice, public policy
issues and questions for the future.
The GREEN TEAMS Web Archive joins the online version of GREEN TOWERS FOR NEW
YORK: From Visionary to Vernacular, an exhibition documenting 15 projects
that represent the next generation of high performance high-rise buildings.
The Green Teams lecture series was sponsored in part by The Related Companies. The Web Archive is presented with support from the J.M. Kaplan Fund and the Community Preservation Corporation.
