The Skyscraper Museum is devoted to the study of high-rise building, past, present, and future. The Museum explores tall buildings as objects of design, products of technology, sites of construction, investments in real estate, and places of work and residence. The exhibit concludes with four green projects: the West 31st Street Residential Apartments, The Helena, a residential apartment highrise built by green pioneer developer Douglas Durst, The Mosaic, a mixed-use, two-building project, and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, an instiutional health research center on the Upper East Side.
