The Skyscraper Museum is devoted to the study of high-rise building, past, present, and future. The Museum explores tall buildings as objects of design, products of technology, sites of construction, investments in real estate, and places of work and residence. Goldman Sachs New World Headquarters
The last commercial site in Battery Park City, just north of World Financial Center, is being developed as the Goldman Sachs New World Headquarters, a 43-story, 1.6 million sq. ft. tower designed by Pei Cobb Freed and Partners. Now under construction, the Goldman Sachs building is expected to win Gold LEED certification when completed in 2009-10.
