Ground Zero
The Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC) has adopted mandatory guidelines for sustainable design and construction practices to govern all rebuilding at Ground Zero. Both the nearly completed 7 World Trade Center and the future Freedom Tower observe these standards, which are outlined in the Sustainable Design Guidelines Reference Manual for the World Trade Center site. The 358-page manual can be downloaded from the LMDC website: www.renewnyc.org.
