Orientation - The position of a
building relative to the points of a compass. Energy consumption in a building
can be reduced by proper orientation of the building’s window areas.
Ozone (O3) - Ozone is a greenhouse gas present
in the stratosphere and the troposphere. In the stratosphere, ozone provides
a protective layer shielding the earth from harmful ultraviolet radiation.
In the lower atmosphere ozone is a pollutant that causes respiratory problems
and is an ingredient of smog.
